The subject of the lecture course is the architecture of the post-war period in Europe and North America. Architectural discourses and strategies for dealing with constand changes in technical, social and cultural conditions are discussed. The lecture course focuses on various themes and concepts like Habitat, Cluster, Mobility, or Participation, which were highly relevant for the conceptual development of architecture. In this manner, the mutual interdepence of architectural practices, technical development, social and cultural discourses of the post-war period are shown.
