Die Publikation dokumentiert vier aktuelle Grossprojekte des in Zürich ansäs si gen Architekturbüros giuliani.hönger, die Fachhochschule Sihlhof in Zürich, das Fachhochschulzentrum in St. Gallen, das Hochschulzentrum Von Roll der Uni und PH Bern sowie das Innovationszentrum Hilti in Schaan. Dieses Begleitbuch zur Ausstellung SCHNITTWERK im Architekturforum Aedes, Berlin, behandelt Themenbereiche wie die Entwicklung einer stadtfähigen, identitätsstiftenden Architektur sowie die Beziehungen zwischen Gebäude und Stadtstruktur, Raum und Raumprogramm, Auftraggeber und Architekt. Anhand von Schnittmodellen, Schichtenrissen und foto grafi schen Silhouettenbildern werden die gestalterischen Ansätze des Architektenteams deutlich im Sinne von Mehrdeutigkeit, Raumbeziehung und Körperhaftigkeit.
This book, published to coincide with the exhibition SCHNITTWERK in the Architecture Forum Aedes in Berlin, documents four current projects by the architects giuliani.hönger, Zurich. It raises the question of how identity can be defined in a way that thereby urbanity is created. The projects illustrate the continuous examination with relations between buildings and city structure, space and space allocation plan as well as client and architect. Figures of silhouettes, sectional models and lamination cracks demonstrate the creative approaches of the architects in ambi guity, correlation of rooms and corporeity.
