Die Idee des neuen Layouts leitet sich aus der Logik der Heftbindung ab; es ist klar getrennt in Text- und Bildbünde. Transdisziplinär sollen verschiedene Blickwinkel auf das Thema zu einem facettenreichen Bild verhelfen.Neben partizipativen Strategien im Städtebau und in der Landschaftsarchitektur stellt sich generell die Frage nach einem neuen Rollenverständnis des Architekten wie auch des Nutzers.
With the edition trans 17 focusing on participation, the magazine is given a comprehensive redesign. The concept of the new layout is derived from the logic of the binding technique. The layout is divided into distinct text and picture bunches. Differing viewpoints on the topic are meant to evoke a multi-faceted image in a transdisciplinary manner. Besides participatory strategies in urban development and landscape architecture a new view on the role of the architect as well as the user is called for.
