Curriculum vitae
Laurin Schwarz studied sociology and political science at the Humboldt University of Berlin and Theory and History of Science and Technology at the Technical University Berlin. In addition, he has been assistant at the Chair of Sociological Theory (Prof. Dr. Hans-Peter Müller), assistant at the Chair of General Sociology and Cultural Sociology (Prof. Dr. Andreas Reckwitz) and at the Max Planck Institute for the History of Science in Berlin. Besides various internships - among others at the Berliner Journal für Soziologie - he worked in cultural and political journalism in editorial departments of several federal broadcasting stations. Since September 2022, he has been a research assistant at the Chair of Architectural Theory (Prof. Dr. Laurent Stalder) at the Institute for the History and Theory of Architecture (gta) at ETH Zurich, conducting research on audiovisual landscapes of circulation in the early 20th century.
